Thanks for the feedback. Ken's talk on teaching in schools is 4 years old now and has had over 2.7 million hits on Youtube, having obviously struck a chord with the public. Yet the education policy in the UK currently seems to be going in the opposite direction.

Here in India, there are various studies being conducted at the moment on how to lean the country into more of a creative economy but the government is extremely unlikely to ever put the proposal into practice.

It's good to hear that some of your wisdom has rubbed off on your kids!

Thanks, Nick, for your website which I discovered via a LinkedIn link. I too found Ken Robinson's talks inspiring; they move an audience deeply because he speaks the truth. It does seem incredible that after all we were meant to have discovered by now about human creativity, we are harking back to theThree 'R's. Yes, lack of basic literacy and numeracy remains a genuine concern but we shouldn't be relegating 'creative' subjects to option columns and extra-curricular programmes. Anyway, enjoyed your art work a lot. My daughter, Isabel (22) is about to start a Fine Art degree course at Lancaster while Lydia (19) has just started her course in Graphic Design at Salford. Meanwhile, I teach for the OU a module which explores creativity in all kinds of spoken and written forms. Good luck with your work in India.
Best wishes
